Children, youth, adults and families will grow and thrive in a safe and healthy community as a result of agencies working collaboratively and implementing integrated services.
The North Simcoe Situation Table (NSST) is a collaborative community project that brings together agencies representing diverse sectors and partnerships to serve and support individuals and families who are at risk of harm.
The rapid mobilization model has been employed in communities across Canada since 2009 and has been effective at reducing demands on police services, reducing recidivism and improving overall well-being of the community.
Individuals representing a cross-section of human service, social service and acute-care providers come together frequently to ensure that community members experiencing high risk of harm are connected to appropriate, timely and effective supports.
